To create a nostalgic environment of a pre-war Chinese eatery, the designer makes use of authentic Chinese elements and designs.

The aim was to make the restaurant seem like you just walked into an archetype of a restaurant in mainland China. Wooden Chinese style furniture and decor were brought in for this reason and ingeniously used to give the restaurant an authentic Shunde-inspired style. Shunde is a quiet district in the city of Foshan, situated in the Guangdong province of China.

The fascinating idea and its design show the dedication and inventiveness of both owner and designer and these are evident in the Oriental design of this charmingly welcoming eatery.
