Ever since “The Internship” showed in 2013, the world has been obsessing over the film’s portrayal of multinational technology company, Google Inc’s headquarters in California, USA. To put it mildly, it has inspired a change of how the human society views the workplace. Having lived in the US for over 10 years, Fallon Loo, Founder and CEO of FLP Realty Sdn Bhd (FLP), has recently unveiled its new headquarters that features colourful and multi-faceted ambience to promote a “work, play and delightful” work environment.
“This is key in creating a culture that motivates the level of work excellence and productivity, foster and boost overall morale, and groom a whole new generation of confident, competent and fulfilled real estate professionals in FLP,” Fallon explained. She added that, “We like to first provide a dynamic work environment to inspire fresh and creative mindsets. This will be supplemented with on-going trainings, performance-based recognitions and opportunities for advancement to drive us to the forefront of the industry.”
Fallon revealed that she noticed many real estate agencies within the country have set up base in conventional, multi-storey shop lots, which do not offer much comfort to the staffs or clients. While many do not see the need to change, Fallon decides to adopt a more proactive stance in her “quality over quantity” approach with FLP’s new headquarters and its retro-inspired design. On top of that, she emphasises on grooming her talents as well as creating FLP’s own mobile app catering to the technologically savvy homebuyers.
When asked about the real estate market in Malaysia, Fallon disclosed that properties around the Klang Valley, such as areas surrounding KLCC, Mont Kiara and Bangsar are among most sought after within the country.
