A nostalgic dining bakery café experience that is comfortable, warm, and regal
Located deep within the heart of Subang Jaya is an Australian-inspired Foxhole Bakery Café that adopts a contemporary vintage theme, which brings the best nostalgic dining experiences of a bakery café to the present.
The café has plenty of space for ease of mobility, while utilising usable space for comfortable dining. Horizontal lines are prevalent throughout the café, contributing to a safe and secure feeling to the café’s space. The café is primarily functional with spaces for food preparation and dining, but there are elements of beauty at the ceiling and the back of the café. Warm lighting lends a sense of warmth to the dining ambience. Tertiary colours of terra-cotta and blue-violet establish earthy regal sensibilities that suggest subtle warmth and regal inspiration.
Dynamic lines of the wooden flooring add drama to the movement experience within the front part of the bakery café. Warm colours on the flooring, plates, and trays match the colours of freshly baked bread and cakes leave a sense of welcome, spontaneity, and comfort.
Although the seats and tables are arranged to allow groups of two to four to dine comfortably, flexibility is possible in seating arrangements to accommodate different group sizes. Rattan chairs and wooden tables make yesteryears’ design chic in present times. The decorative ceiling prop design consisting of polished copper piping and warm pendant lighting contribute towards a dining environment that is fun, almost like a contraption that allows a fox to trot in the air.
At the back of the café lies a tranquil space where patrons may relax while having a drink. Glass doors blur the separation of space between the main social space and the back of the café, while grilles blur the barriers between the café and its exteriors. Natural daylight filters in naturally into this space, while pendant ambient lighting provides illumination into this space at night. The greenery brings forth a fresh and natural sense within the neutral space.
