Contrary to popular beliefs, a student’s life is just as stressful as life at the workplace due to the heightened expectations and free-flowing information made possible by the advancement of technology.
In order to provide the students of this Chinese independent high school located in Klang a creative and conducive learning environment that would assist in their character development, the design team from D’Concepto has spared no effort in creating a design that offers maximum comfort and functionality.
The reception area has been transformed into a chic, contemporary space with the use of sleek, wood finishes and comfortable sofa seats.
At the same time, the learning centre is accustomed with a world-class design which features an abundant of natural lighting through the application of glass windows and the incorporation of an open space layout, allowing students to pursue knowledge in a homely and relaxing environment.
Apart from that, the design team has focused its efforts in revamping the hostel area – a place where students could rest and rejuvenate after a long day of lectures and school work. Keeping the open space concept alive, the hostel café is further fashioned with wood and concrete finishes which produce a rustic vibe when illuminated with natural light.
The music and movie rooms are furnished with individual seats which could be moved around to maximise space without catering to various activities.
