When given the opportunity of designing for a multi-generational family, the designers from Deseo Creativo pooled their efforts into creating a living space that would bridge the differences in taste between the inhabitants by combining modern and classical design features. At the same time, the design takes inspiration from its tropical setting, which is enhanced with its neutral colour palette, warm wood grains, grand Italian marble, clear glass features, green decors and sheer curtain fabrics, providing the interior with an abundance of natural light while evoking a grand and sophisticated vibe.
In order to illustrate the grandeur of this design & build residence, most of its design efforts are concentrated on the living hall with the installation of a majestic double-volume TV panel feature wall that is made of reflective bronze mirror and white glossy surfaces. The feature is further complemented with white-coloured wall paint, simple louvre windows and classy Italian marble flooring as its furnishing is kept at a minimum to bring emphasis onto the design highlights. At the same time, the foyer’s alluring green décor is accentuated through the semi-transparent main door constructed through the combination of clear and semi-frosted glass panels, which projects the beauty of its interior outwards to passers-by in this gateless community.
Transitioning from the common areas into more private quarters of the house, the designs of its dining area, kitchen and bedrooms are tailored to a more private ambience while retaining its graceful disposition. The combined kitchen and dining space made use of the TV console wall at the living room by attaching a wall-mounted TV to the back of the feature. In the meantime, the master bedroom is equipped with a luxurious walk-in wardrobe and en-suite bathroom that comes with a separate dressing area design resembling a tulip. Other than that, the designers have also came up with a variety of functional designs for its AV room, Children’s bedroom and outdoor balcony to help enrich the living environment.
