The designer intended for this Cambodian restaurant’s rooms and spaces to match. The client’s personal style was used for the interior showing a penchant for rich visuals and the application of unique private room designs.
The general dimness of this restaurant does it justice with its rich leather walls and heavy, dark curtains. Chandeliers and light fixtures with a local twist also add a spunk all its own to this restaurant – and not forgetting a small touch of local custom with the installation of a straw ceiling.
For the successful execution of the client’s personal design concept, a thorough familiarisation and exploration of the local culture was needed on the designer’s part. The finished product is testament to this successful venture.
