Considering that Malaysia is multicultural society such, interior designers are constantly challenged to seek a balance between culture and functions within living spaces that also cater to the modern family lifestyles you see today. Havinh incorporated modernised oriental elements into its design, this residence instinctively exuded warmth and intimacy that were further enhanced with vibrant accent colours as well as artworks inspired from Chinese characters.
Going with a more refreshing design that’s focused on space rather than objects, the designers concentrated their efforts into decorating the hard surfaces of the interior structure, which ultimately contributed to the spacious and comfortable home. As a manifestation of its unique concept, the feature wall in the living area was outfitted with a sleek wall panel design made from bronze mirror strips and elegant fabric upholsteries while the pink finishes on the ceiling jump out against the dominant earth colour palette. Inside, the dining area was separated from the kitchen with a built-in cabinet, serving as both a display and a storage.
In order to cater to a large family, the kitchen was equipped with a long island that could be extended into a breakfast counter for quick meals or a casual drink. On the upper levels of the property, the bedrooms were distinguished by specific colour schemes as a reflection of the inhabitants’ respective personalities. At the same time, space-saving wardrobes, cabinets and work desks were incorporated to maintain a peaceful ambience. Aside from that, the designers fashioned the rest of this residence with tasteful contemporary design features, including an entertainment room, a home office, a comfortable lounge area and an outdoor terrace.
