Have you ever wonder what sets a luxury brand’s outlet apart from a regular retail space? Is it the usage of premium finishes, the strategic placement of lighting fixtures, or just simply because the store appears spacious while the displays are far and wide apart? The answer lies in the careful composition of all the elements mentioned above. In this particular project, the designer has sampled from the luxurious ambience of these high-end outlets and combined the concept with residential design features to ultimately produce a home of atmospheric comfort and highly sophisticated taste.
From the private elevator, the design begins with a simple yet tasteful foyer with the selection of a floor rug that resembles an abstract work of art. Being led visually into the common area of the house, one is immediately greeted by the sight of its spacious living room with a gorgeous cityscape view in the background. Warm downlights are placed over design features such as its wall surfaces and pleated curtains to create a dramatic yet visually-soothing effect that is complemented by a designer stand lamp and a huge L-shaped fabric sofa to match great aesthetics with greater comfort.
Situated on the opposing end of the living room, the dry kitchen is furnished with an opulent marble-top kitchen counter lit by ambient LED lights, which serves as both a dining area and a bar counter. Meanwhile, this residence is equipped with three well-sized bedrooms, which are decorated in sleek urban style like the rest of the house. The earthy colour palette of the master bedroom emphasised on providing a restful atmosphere for the owner as it also comes with a walk-in wardrobe fashioned with a complete built-in cabinetry system, catering to the needs of a modern lifestyle. Similarly, the master bathroom features a hotel-like design with the selection of a black marble-top bathroom counter with double vanity and a glass-encased shower area.
