One can only let out a sigh of appreciation at the love Barovier&Toso and Bulgari have had for each other’s work since 2014. In fact, their latest collaboration has finally been revealed, and it is none other than the Il Ristorante Luca Fantin at Ginza, Tokyo. Located inside the Bulgari tower in the prestigous shopping district, the historic Murano-based glass-making company decked out the spaces of the new Michelin-star restaurant and lounge bar in full-blown Italian style, including two large customised cascades of Spinn elements in crystal and 24 karat gold. That is, chandeliars that cross two levels with a diameter over two metres and span by a height of over six metres. Having once decorated the Bulgari restaurant in London, this current creation in Tokyo goes way beyond all expections, highlighting the distinctive legacy that both parties carry.
