Commonly associated with the concept of calmness and purity, white colour is used in interior designs to provide a feeling of comfort and space for residents. Instead of balancing the elements of white with a different colour tone, the designer took the bold decision to decorate the entire residence with a single palette that layered on the subtle variations of materials and finishes. As a result, the whole house turned into a posh and visually attractive living space.
At the living room, the elegant slab of white marble is paired with clear mirror strips as a stylish wall that highlights the romantic atmosphere of its intended design. To distinguish the living room, the designer has added white-leather sofas and backlit ceiling to enhance the sense of luxury of its main living area. In the meantime, due to the usage of white hues as its dominant colour, the interior spaces of this residence in the common areas instinctively exude warmth and homeliness through the reflection of natural light.
Separated by a built-in kitchen counter, the design of its dry kitchen is predominantly an extension of its overall modern classical theme with the selection of an off-white, classic European-styled kitchen cabinetry system equipped with its very own wine cellar. Similarly, the bedrooms on the upper floor are decorated with modern classical features with emphasis on the application of wallpaper, built-in cabinets, wooden flooring and warm lighting, producing a sleeping environment that is soothing yet not overly distracting for the inhabitants.
