Seeking a design that would transform this house into a sanctuary where its residents could rest and rejuvenate, the team from Pins Studio has chosen to explore the combination of natural lighting, authentic raw materials and a pleasant colour palette to provide the interior with a calming atmosphere while shielding its inhabitants from hectic city life. Situated at the brightest corner of the house that is illuminated with natural lighting, the living area epitomises a simple yet cosy and stylish concept that is adored by homeowners worldwide. Sleek furnishing features paired with modern neutral hues and enhanced with wood finishes have come together to produce a European-esque ambience.
Apart from its living area, the ground floor also houses a dining room and a fully functional kitchen. While the dining room features a modern Scandinavian look with its heavy wood furnishings, the kitchen space is given a sleeker design with stylish black walls and countertops. Glass sliding doors are applied when separation of space is required, maintaining an openness within the interior. In order to create a truly rejuvenating home, the team has paid much attention to the design of its master bedroom. Other than designing with only a sleeping area, the room is also fitted with a work desk, a separate lounge area and a walk-in wardrobe decorated with a dark, cosy and edgy colour palette. Meanwhile, its other bedrooms are modelled after this urban design with the use of wooden and black matted metal finishes.
