Displaying a great deal of creativity and thoughtfulness, each space within this terrace house is given compelling visual points to compensate for the lack of natural views. At the living room, the designers have taken advantage of its long layout by applying an impressive TV console feature wall made out of separate Serpeggiante marble panels that are arranged to provide a seamless flow to its vertical grains, which also creates a feeling of ascension, thus elevating the space visually to achieve a grander and more elegant look.
Another highlight of this design is the wooden wall situated opposite of the TV panel that decorates the interior wall from its entrance all the way to staircase, giving the common area a consistent visual attraction. It is also equipped with hidden storages and a hidden door that leads into the storeroom underneath the stairs while ensuring that the common area remains organised. Maximising its air well, the dining room is further segregated from the living room with a laser-cut partition personalised with motifs inspired by its tropical climate, which offers a calming and private environment. On the other hand, the kitchen space is mainly decorated with a darker colour scheme with glossy finishes to invoke a grand and elegant atmosphere while easily maintained.
On the upper floor, the designers have transformed an empty hallway into a calming family hall that overlooks the air well and is applied with the same brick wall feature to bring visual connectivity into the space. The master bedroom design centralised on a cosier ambience with the use of fabric and soft furnishings. At the same time, the wall feature opposite of the bed masked a hidden entrance that leads into the walk-in wardrobe and master bathroom. The master bathroom is given a makeover with custom marble walls and sliding glass door to reflect its resort-styled luxury. Equipped with a semi see-through wardrobe and a full-height sliding mirror door cabinet, the design of its walk-in wardrobe epitomises a visual and functional balance tailored to an urbanite’s lifestyle.
