In the not-too-distant-past, a common condominium unit from the bustling cityscape of Kuala Lumpur was masterfully transformed into a glamorous living environment through the adaptation of tasteful classical European features merged harmoniously with contemporary details that transcends the boundaries of time and space, transporting the owners to an age of romance and mysticism. Produced through the peaceful union of pleasant neutral colour tones, champagne hues and classy bronze mirror, this dwelling is afforded with an inviting living environment worthy of a noble.
Serving as the heart of this house, the living room is highlighted with a wallpapered TV console featuring classical prints, reflective bronze mirrors, sleek fabric sofa, plush floor rug as well as a fascinating floor lamp. Its grand piano is stationed on an elevated timber deck as the space is further furnished with a designer armchair, side table and crystal chandelier, turning it into a cosy lounge area. No European design is complete without a fireplace. As such, the designer constructed a sleek fireplace next to its dining area, where it is further provisioned with a cushioned wall feature and a built-in bench. Aside from enhancing the authenticity of its classical European theme, the fireplace also doubles as a display area for the owners.
Meanwhile, the kitchen area emphasises on the contemporary aspects of its design with a versatile kitchen island and built-in cabinets. Created with practicality in mind, the kitchen island is instantly transformed into a casual bar counter with the addition of bar stools. Another highlight of this residence is the design of its foyer area leading into the residence, which is given a comfortable faux grass carpet and a full-height shoe cabinet to provide a welcoming entrance for guests.
