Honest Egg from aesthetid on Vimeo.
Evolving with time and technology inventions, Lexus Design Award 2018 welcomes and celebrates prestigious world designers with drive to shift perspective, communicate and stimulate the imagination to shape a better future. Lexus hosted an annual Lexus Design Event for the prototype winners’ design announced at ‘Limitless Co-Existence’ Exhibition during Milan Design Week. Remember that egg which needs not to be cracked? That’s right, Honest Egg is back and is here to do more. Bringing the winning tittles home to Malaysia as the prototype winner and the people’s choice award, co-founders of aesthetid, Paul Yong and Jaihar Jailani successfully connects technology and design that shows the egg’s edibility and overcoming the problem of ambiguity when an egg is overdue. Among the 4 finalists out of the 12 selected for prototype development, Honest Egg was among the finalist in competing for the Lexus Design Award 2018. Now that deserves a pat on the back.
