A workspace does not have to be dull and uninspiring; a conducive work environment is capable of offering your employees the comforts of home while still driving productivity. In this particular instance, the design firm went with a nature-inspired theme which capitalise on the open space layout which maximises natural lighting. The application of rustic materials such as concrete, wood and black matted metal frames emanate a cosy vibe that instantly puts anyone at ease.
Wooden furniture pieces were matched with the décor in order to create a synchronised look for this workspace. Aside from individual seats, the space is furnished with a communal table that is made from a series of shelves hanging from the ceiling which provide both surface spaces as well as storages. At the same time, the workspace comes with custom-made shelves, ensuring that the space isn’t cluttered with bulky cabinets that would get in the way of its spaciousness.
In order to connect to the easy-going atmosphere of its intended design, the design team has personalised the office space with a selection of furniture pieces such as lounge chairs, sofas and bean bags. Plants were also added into the mix to accentuate the nature-inspired theme while acting as an accent to the browns, whites, greys and blacks in the space. In general, the design of this workspace covers the functional aspects that are expected of a modern-day office while the aesthetics would appeal to a wider group of users, especially those who would appreciate a change of pace from living in a concrete jungle.
